<div> 1947 Gillette Aristocrat Gold plated in original case</div><div><br></div><div> Gold plated 1947 Gillette Aristocrat in original case. The plating on the razor shows a normal </div><div>bit of wear in some areas. Actually for being over 60 years old it has held it's beauty quite well.</div><div><br></div><div>Another lovely piece of history, this non adjustable Gillette can often be gotten at a cheaper </div><div>price than the 1934 version ( which again depends on the auction mania. Without a case you can </div><div>probably get it much cheaper )</div><div><br></div><div>Came in 3 different casing variants. </div><div><br></div><div> Like the predecessor, it is built like a tank to last, and the weight distribution is as well </div><div>balanced from the head to the thicker barber pole style handle. Heavier than the Gillette Tech / </div><div>Super Speed, this razor is a breeze to finger gripe and control ( Again I think the Fatboy which </div><div>I adore has a bit of asymmetrical balance )</div><div><br></div><div> I would grade it as medium aggressiveness like the earlier 1934 version, and has not drawn much </div><div>flake from my skin from multiple passes during shaving.</div><div><br></div><div>Blade replacement is as easy as the other TTO designs. An old school classic</div><div><br></div><div> The plating shows a small bit of wear on the top and the sides of head. The blade holder is in </div><div>good+ condition. The case is in good condition showing a small bit of wear. See the pictures </div><div>of the outside, top and bottom. </div><div> </div><div> The inner lining is good, but the writing has worn away on the inside of the upper part</div><div>of the case. The TTO mechanism works great and the blade cover seats evenly. The razor kit as a </div><div>whole is in fair to good condition.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>PRICE $45.00 OBO</div><div>SHIPPING $5.60 CONTINENTAL USA</div><div><br></div><div>http://www.ioffer.com/selling/rickcaron2008</div><div><br></div><div>http://www.bonanza.com/booths/rckandrews45</div><div><br></div><div>http://richardsrazors.ecrater.com/</div><div><br></div><div>http://www.linkedin.com/e/-piagua-gp659s4g-1l/vgh/3966839/eml-grp-sub/</div><div><br></div><div>http://iantiqueonline.ning.com/</div><div><br></div><div>PAYPAL ONLY</div><div>INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING COST: DEPENDS WHERE BUYER IS LOCATED.</div><div>INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I WILL NOT ALTER SELLING OR SHIPPING PRICE OR MARK AS A GIFT, I SHIP ONLY </div><div>USPS MAIL OUTSIDE OF U.S.A.</div><div>INSURANCE IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE BUYER.</div><div>ALL SALES FINAL.</div><div><br></div><div>Terms of Sale:</div><div>When I describe an object as 'VINTAGE' or 'ANTIQUE' they will have the typical wear and tear you </div><div>would expect with an older piece.
